Ask God! host Lori Carrell, Ph.D. is Professor of Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Dr. Lori's passion and faith fuel a vision to educate, inspire, and equip others to maximize the transformative power of the spoken word.

As an award-winning researcher and teacher who is committed to high impact communication, Dr. Lori is passionate about facilitating dialogue among the often rambunctious guests on Ask God! Says Dr. Lori, "Spoken language clarifies thinking."

While her current research focuses on the impact of sermon communication, she is convinced that the dialogue format of Ask God! provides an amazing opportunity for transformation because it gets people talking.
