One of Abraham Kuyper's most famous quotes is: "There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is sovereign over all, does not cry: Mine!" This quote gets to the heart of the way I view theology and the Christian faith. It is important to recognize that our faith is not reserved for some kind of Christian ghetto. It ought to impact every facet of our lives and society. I hope to create this kind of passion in students as they study theology, a truly exciting subject.

Dr. Vincent Bacote is an Associate Professor of Theology and the Director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College (IL).   He's excited not only by teaching theology but also by observing the various trends that influence our culture.  An amateur bass player and tennis fanatic, he is currently working on his next book and hopes to inspire other Christians to take their responsibility in and for the culture with great seriousness.

He finds the interactive dialogue of Ask God to be a great opportunity to explore vital questions that don't necessarily yield easy or simple answers.  "The format of the show provides a forum for looking at the numerous facets of the issues and concerns that come from the people on the street, and it is a fun challenge to seek for meaningful answers as a result of the conversation among the participants."
